New family of high performance Mono-Lube® filled inside tire paints provides lower defect levels and longer bladder life at significantly lower coat weights

Howell, September 2006 - Chem-Trend’s dedicated tire product development team has completed the introduction of a new family of high performance water-based inside paints that is based on a unique blend of raw materials. The carefully balanced ratios of these ingredients allows users to employ lower coating weights, compared to conventional filled inside tire paints. Even at these lower coating weights an ever-growing list of customers are reporting greatly reduced paint-related defect levels and a significantly enhanced bladder life. This family, from the Mono-Lube® 3000 series, includes products that are available in either tan or gray color with a range of total solid contents.
