Safe, environmentally compatible, and efficient
Maisach, 10 November 2009 - With Lusin Clean L 52 F, Chem-Trend introduces its first surface cleaner and degreaser specifically developed for use in the thermoplastic industry. The newly developed product conforms to NSF K1 and K3 requirements for use in the food industry in non-food contact applications.
Lusin Clean L 52 F is used in the thermoplastics industry in order to remove residue such as wax, grease, or oil from plastic or glass surfaces as well as from machine parts. The new surface cleaner and degreaser can be used during the production process, as well as during the preparation of semi-finished products for final assembly. Lusin Clean L 52 F is an ideal complement to Lusin Clean L101 F, Chem-Trend’s recently launched mould cleaner, which is used for the removal of plastic residue from moulds and dies.
“With Lusin Clean L 52 F we’ve developed an environmentally sound product, allowing efficient cleaning and degreasing of surfaces while fulfilling the highest safety requirements”, says René Gräwe, Global Business Development Director Thermoplastic, Chem-Trend. “Until now, huge amounts of highly flammable solvents have been used for surface cleaning and degreasing. Together with Lusin Clean L101 F, Chem-Trend’s new mould cleaner, all cleaning procedures within the thermoplastic industry can now be handled in a safe, environmentally sound, and efficient way.”
Instead of butane or propane as a propellant, Lusin Clean L 52 F uses a VOC neutral propellant which has been gained in an environmentally neutral process. Given the choice of propellant the active content of the aerosol can is more than doubled. Lusin Clean L 52 F therefore significantly increases the yield per aerosol can, while providing a consistently high level of cleaning efficiency. Lusin Clean L 52 F has been developed for worldwide use in the manufacturing process of products with high hygienic requirements, such as beverage- and baby bottles, toys, tooth brushes, coffee machines, or other household articles. The new product conforms to NSF K1 and K3 requirements for use in the food industry in non-food contact applications.
