Freudenberg Chemical Specialities Group, a business group of Freudenberg & Co. KG, develops, manufactures, markets and sells specialist chemical products. Comprising the four divisions Klüber Lubrication, Chem-Trend, OKS and SurTec, FCS is a leading global producer of special lubricants, release agents, chemo-technical maintenance products, and solutions for surface treatments and electroplating technology. These products find applications in every walk of life, making the company’s four divisions suppliers to almost every industry. The food and pharmaceutical industries are just two examples of the industries supplied by Klüber Lubrication, Chem-Trend, OKS and SurTec.
Freudenberg Chemical Specialities KG is headquartered in Munich, Germany, with subsidiaries in approximately 40 countries. The company employs around 2,900 people and generates an annual turnover of several hundred million euros.
Products meet highest standards of quality
In order to guarantee that the quality of every product remains equally high, no matter where it is made, all our manufacturing sites worldwide comply with the same tough standards. These standards cover quality controls at every phase of the production process, starting with the raw materials, progressing through processing those materials and monitoring the end products, to shipping and delivery. Our facilities are almost all certified according to ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environmental management) and OHSAS 18001 (occupational health and safety). Products for use in the food industry comply with the world’s strictest hygiene standards, for example those of the United States Department of Agriculture (NSF-H1). Customers can therefore be secure in the knowledge that the products they buy from us will be suitable for even the most demanding tasks. In addition to this, we have also established an internal programme within the group to ensure that we always act responsibly towards the environment and serve as a respectful partner to the society that we live in.
