Munich, 1 Jan 2009 - OKS finalized the pre-registration of substances falling under REACH regulation
OKS finalized the pre-registration of substances falling under REACH regulation. The pre-registration phase of REACH ("Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals") expired on 1.2.2008. In the course of implementation of REACH manufacturers and processors of substances were called on to pre-register chemical substances with the European Chemicals Agency in Helsinki (ECHA). Affected are in-house-products as well as imported substances. The deadline date for the pre-registration was the 1.12.2008. Over the past months OKS was in close contact with its suppliers of chemical substances. This helped us to make sure these substances are pre-registered in time. Another group of substances has been successfully pre-registered by OKS itself. This means that OKS products comply with the REACH regulation and the complete product range will be available in the future.
