SurTec presents its entire aluminum surface treatment portfolio at the ALUMINIUM Exhibition in Duesseldorf. SurTec’s focuses at the exhibition are RainTec, an innovative atomization technology for the non-chrome pretreatment of aluminum prior to painting, and the anodizing portfolio with a wide variety of added values.
“After the completion of mergers of a multitude of leading anodizing companies in the past years, SurTec became one of the top global suppliers of the anodizing industry,” explains Dr. Torsten Koerner, Director Global Products Metal Pre-Treatment and Industrial Parts Cleaning at SurTec International GmbH. “The ALUMINIUM exhibition remains an important forum to showcase innovative approaches and demonstrate industry examples of added values.”
Added values are key to differentiate in the anodizing industry
SurTec offers the complete portfolio of the anodizing process including degreasing, etching, brightening, deoxidizing, anodizing additives, dye coloring, electrocoloring, and various kinds of cold, mid-temperature, hot and functional sealings.
One particular focus at the tradeshow will be an additive for the anodizing bath, which enables energy savings of up to 20%. The additive underwent the Qualanod qualification process and an preliminary approval is expected within the coming weeks.
Another topic is a Qualanod-approved additive for medium-temperature sealing, which enables operation at temperatures below 90 degrees Celsius. The portfolio also includes sealing additives for fixing organic dyes or providing alkali resistance in accordance with OEM requirements.
RainTec - state-of-the-art atomization technology for chrome-free pretreatment of aluminium
In the pre-treatment prior to painting, SurTec presents RainTec, a ground-breaking atomization technology for Qualicoat- approved non-chrome pre-treatment processes prior to powder coating. This unique process is characterized by the complete absence of contaminations in the operational bath, as the process is constantly fed by fresh solution. In addition, the process exhibits an excellent ecological footprint, as the use consumption of water and chemicals are significantly reduced in comparison to conventional technologies.
At booth 3G52, global SurTec experts look forward to meet and discuss with interested visitors to the ALUMINIUM exhibition from all over the world.
