On October 1st, 2021, Peter Hantl will overtake the operative responsibility as Chief Executive Officer at Capol GmbH, a leading manufacturer of products for confectionery surface treatment. He succeeds Christian Hauk, who will leave the company effective that date. Peter Hantl holds a diploma as industrial engineer and studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern (Germany). Furthermore, he holds an Executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Evanston (Chicago, USA) and the Otto-Beisheim School of Management (WHU), Vallendar (Koblenz, Germany).
After his career entry at the food company Kraft Jacobs Suchard (today: Mondelez International) in the area of finance, production, sales and marketing, he gathered additional experiences within an international consulting company. In 2002 he joined the CeWe Color Stifung & Co. KGaA (today: Cewe). As a director at CeWe he was responsible for three manufacturing companies and two international sales organizations. During the last 13 years Mr. Hantl was Chief Executive Officer of two international companies for specialty chemicals and Member of the Board at a Japanese technology company, being majorly responsible for sales, marketing and R&D. „I am excited about the challenging task at a leading provider of finishing products for the confectionery industry and other segments of the food industry”, Hantl said. “I see many opportunities for Capol to successfully continue the growth path of the recent years and to further expand its market position”, he added.
